| Q&A | What are the most important issues for users?Question：This place is a joke and will hold you against your will even if you sign an AMA you wont see a doctor or get treated.
Answers：I have been here 2X, UBH Denton 1X, Millwood Arlington 1X, Helen Farabee Wise County MHMR 1X. I was only able to be ONE time voluntary and then leave when I wanted even though the doctor wanted me to stay. Money IS the root of all evil and this place can and will hold you INVOLUNTARY which means you cant leave till THEY say. The reason is simple MONEY they prefer to milk your insurance rather than really help you. Sad but true. I would know too. I am posting this so you know this: You must know you will be in these places on average 7-10 days. You must take the meds the doctor prescribes, this is know as being "med compliant" do not let them bully you because your rights which are in the bill of rights apply always even in these places. They can not touch you, they can not tell you to go to your room. They bully people but not me because I KNOW nobody can make you do anything without a court order! They don't want me there now haha! Go figure huh! |
