| Q&A | What are the most important issues for users?Question：DO NOT GO HERE. I sat in this hospital for 4 hrs and when the doctor got in there he said he didn’t know what to do. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
Answers：Emergency Departments are for ruling out life threatening illness. They are not always able to give a "you have this" answer, but can let you know it is not immediate life threatening and refer you to a primary care provider for additional testing. Now just because you are admitted does not mean a hospital bed is available. The ER cannot make an inpatient bed magically appear. ER staff wish they could immediately send admitted patients to rooms. This allows for a better patient experience and also frees up an ER room for those wait to be seen. Hope this helps explain that ER nurses and doctors are not uncaring, just doing the best we can with the space available. |
