Q&A | What are the most important issues for users?Question:Not a question, but staff is very rude and needs evaluated. Was not able to see my girlfriend before being admitted, was not able to get any information regarding her stay, and on top of that staff was very rude during visit and on the phone. Answers:Do not have the facts regarding your girlfriend's visit but speaking as a Privacy Officer it is not unusual for medical staff to be considered rude because they will not divulge information about patients to family and friends. All patients, including you, are protected under HIPAA laws and staff are very careful about maintaining a patient's privacy. Their time and first priority is devoted to providing exceptional health care. |
