| Q&A | What are the most important issues for users?Question：I would like to know if anyone has experienced neglect or abuse by the nurses? My mother was a patient and suffered severe neglect and as a result contracted sepsis and rsv and died as a result. I want to know if others have suffered as well?
Answers：I have not experienced anything like this but I have some info to share that hopefully will be able to help. You may want to make a formal complaint against the nurse(s) who neglected to care for your loved one. You can do this with ease by Googling Alabama Board of Nursing. Go to their website and click on the link File A Complaint and go from there. Try to provide as much information as possible. If you don't know the nurse's full name just enter what you know
Every complaint filed with the board of Nursing is taken VERY seriously and EVERY complaint is investigated. The nurse will receive notification by mail of the complaint filed and serious penalties can be placed on the nurse's license including suspension. I hope this helped some |
